This is an in-person, twice a week Theory Fundamentals class for non-majors and music majors who did not test into Theory 1. Each student is required to purchase a melodica, which is usually $25-45, and I tried to emphasize music-making and performance as the primary goals of the course. The homeworks are mostly from the online platform Artusi, which has auto-graded assignments, provides immediate feedback to students, and has extra tutoring resources.
